If you are having more than about 100 guests I can supply additional ‘cutting cakes’. These are cakes made with the same ingredients, but are not decorated; you can buy as many of these as you need to ensure that every guest has a piece. These cakes are only available with full size wedding cakes. Each cutting cake consists of 25 portions and costs £50.00
My delivery vehicle is air-conditioned so the cake will be kept cool during transportation. I will always set up the cake where direct sunlight cannot fall on it and ask whoever is in charge of the catering to ensure that no sunlight will fall on it as the day progresses. If the reception is in a marquee I would recommend that the cake is set up no more than 30 minutes before the reception starts.
By cheque, cash or postal order. I am unable to accept payments by credit/debit card.
The more notice you are able to give the better but if you need a cake quickly it is always worth contacting me as it may be possible for me to fit you in.
Yes, the cake makes an excellent dessert but you should discuss this with your venue or caterer. If you do want to have the cake instead of a dessert you should have 50% more cake; we will provide sufficient extra chocolate to decorate every portion.
Yes, my cakes are perfect for any occasion.
Unfortunately I do not make ‘traditional’ wedding cakes, or fruit cakes. My cakes are only made from the finest chocolates.
